I hope all is well with you. I am writing with an important message I hope you will consider. The federal election year fast approaches, and we need to get serious about the Canada we want.
We know Stephen Harper is taking our country in the wrong direction: more unfairness and greater inequality.
However, come October 2015 it does not have to stay this way.
During the Election Year we have an opportunity to engage people who are feeling left out, and voters who have fallen off the radar. We need to empower more young people, minority groups, indigenous people, and new Canadians and ensure they are involved in our democratic process. We can promote ideas that inspire; affordable childcare, raising the minimum wage, fair taxation and democratic reform.
Here at the Broadbent Institute we’re gearing up to do our part, and we’re going to need your help to get it done. Our plan hinges on the support of politically concerned people like you.
Your gift today of $25, $50 or $100 will be put towards our Election Year 2015 goal of $50,000 before year end – Just as every vote will count in 2015, so does every gift now.
Douglas , 2015 can be a year of growth, a year of hope, and a year to remember. We can’t allow this historic opportunity for victory to slip through our hands.
Support our Election Year 2015 plan and please make your contribution today.
I’ll send you a personal thank you note in the new year.
Again, many thanks, and warmest holiday wishes,
